She looked Shugo in the eyes as he spoke and kept staring when he looked away. Gina wandered why every time they said something the other one would have some form of going against it. It was like Shugo and Gina were sibling who always fought and never agreed on anything. Gina kept calm when she heard the remark about the animals. Gina was very protective of animals, but did not want to get all worked up. "I everyone is different, but all animals are pure at heart. Well let me put it this way, when a lion attack another lion or anything else it is either for food, protection or territory. They have to do that to survive in this harsh world. The only real purpose animals have on this world is to live in harmony and to be in peace. Sadly this doesn't happen because of if there is not enough food, territory so that drives them to kill or attack something else and thats when protection comes in at." She said with a sort of serious look on her face. |

Shugo kept his arms folded loosesly against his lower chest. He noticed how Gina liked animals a lot and was protective over them. He was aggrivated but not enough to show it much. She must've known a lot about animals and perhaps more than he did. Either way he didn't like them enough to pet them or anything. "Humans fight over food too, and a lot of the time they have a good reason to. Animals aren't really that much different than humans. They just have fur and everyone thinks they're cute for some reason... personally, I don't find beady black eyes and sharp claws very adorable." He said and smirked. "And besides.... they aren't always that innocent. Theres dogs that would glady bite other animals and people." Dogs a lot of the time were used for security. Probably because of how fast they run and how sharp their teeth were... dog bites hurt a lot and the wound would stay for a week.

Gina frowned up a little when she heard what Shugo had to say about animals and humans. apparently what she was saying to him didn't get through his hard head. Although Gina was getting madder and madder she kept her cool. Is this what it is like to have a sibling? Them always annoying you? Gina thought. Gina had no idea what it was like to have a brother or sister since she was the only child. Why am I comparing me and him as siblings? She thought again. "Dogs that will bite a human right of the bat was not born that way they just had been either neglected, beaten or had some kind of bad encounter with humans. As for the trained dogs they only do that because humans trained them to be that way. I know humans fight over food as well, but that only happens if they are homeless or don't have enough money and that is smiler to what I said earlier about the lions. Your right that animals arn't that different from humans, because humans are animals. Just like there are dogs and cats there are humans, the only difference is that we are different from the rest. Some humans kill just for fun or rob other people, they also drink and smoke as well." |

Shugo blinked slowly as he stared at Gina. When she was about done he looked away with an irritated scowl. "You're awfuly passionate about this subject. Maybe you should become a debator, then you could get out all your long annoying thoughts and have people actually care about what you're saying." He grouchily said. He could keep going on with the 'discussion' but he wasn't really a person who'd enjoy going on about something. Arguements weren't his favorite thing. The two were set on how they felt so nothing would be really that much effected other than how they felt about eachother. "You don't know animals as well as you think you do. If you were one of them, you would feel that humans were more innocent." He sighed and gave her a smug look as he added, "And don't go on about how you wouldn't. I don't want to here it. This arguement could go on and on..."And he was right, it easily could.

Gina gasped after she heard what Shugo had to say. Gina wasn't the kind to get angered quick, but shugo was really pushing her to the limit. Her expression went from calm and peaceful to angry and annoyed. She had just met Shugo and he was already on her bad side. She wouldn't usually mind him, but they were arguing about her favorite subject and that was animals. To Gina Shugo's head was hard a rock. His mind was basically impenetrable. He was sort of like her sometimes when she really believed in something like there argument they was just in. "Excuse me! Yes, im very passionate about it and you are just what I said earlier a jerk!" She yelled at him. Then she turned her head and folded her arms. |

Shugo felt his shoulders tense as Gina called him a jerk. It was usual for him to treat people the way he had been treating Gina, but even with being involved in gangs he still hated being called names or being accused of something. If someone accused him of anything thats when he'd get purely irritated and angry. "Hey! Don't get fussy just because not everyone adores your precious animals!" He nearly yelled but his voice wasn't loud or harsh enough to reach that point. "You're the most annoying person I've met! If you think I'm a jerk then why are you still here?" He growled sourly. It was surprising that he was still there himself. If he left, then Gina would've won the argument. But if Gina left then he'd be the victor. Who said things had to be a competition? Maybe they were lonely and didn't want to leave. 'This girl is so weird! First shes trying to be nice and intelligent with her animal talk then shes accusing me of being a jerk! I am NOT a jerk!' He thought angrily. It bothered him enough for it to show.

Gina's eye twitched while she had them closed and had her head turned to the right, as she heard him speak.I am not annoying, how dare he call me that! She thought to herself. Gina doesn't like arguing and fighting, but when she had to she would. He was the most interesting character so far that she had meet at the school. What is his problem? She thought to herself. She then looked back at him to answer his question. "I don't want everybody to adore animals, I don't care whether you do or don't! And if im the most annoying person you have ever meet why don't you leave?!" She yelled a little. Gina sighed she was tired of arguing and just wanted to relax, but she wasn't going to rest until she finishes with him. Gina pondered on his question of why she wouldn't leave. She couldn't really answer that question for some reason. Why am I still standing here I would have left a few minutes ago? She thought. |

Shugo remained feeling the same as he did before but his eyes narrowed at Gina while she yelled at him. He could've blocked out what she was saying but he didn't really want to. He didn't have to stand and let her yell at him, he could walk away. For some reason he wasn't planning on doing that just yet however. He was kind of amused with Gina's reactions, even if they were beginning to get him mad. "Perhaps your big annoying mouth is preventing me from leaving! It would be rude to leave when someone is in the middle of saying something. Of course, that probably doesn't stop you." He remarked with his hands clenching into fists. It was something he did whenever worked up. "For some one who is accusing me of being a jerk, you're not being too polite either! Proper manners, in this kind of moment, means that ladies leave first!" He snapped. Honestly he was beginning to feel a bit bad for not being exactly nice to her. It seemed like they both were involved in the moment.

She stared him down. Why is he so stubborn? Gina thought. Shugo was case that Gina just couldn't crack. This argument could go on forever. Gina hated fighting and just wanted to give up, but her will power wouldn't let her. She had never met anyone as stubborn as Shugo before in her life. "You know this is pointless and is not getting anywhere. Plus it's getting late, soon it will be night time and you know that only the night class can stay out at night while the day class got to go in so lets just drop it!" With that said Gina started to walk to wards her dorm. OOC; Sorry about the shortness! |

Shugo stared at Gina for awhile while she was walking, mainly puzzled by her reaction. He basically won in a way, since he didn't leave first. But the victory didn't feel that great. It left him fealing slightly annoyed. She was right, but the fact that she was made him even more annoyed. "You're just afraid of the dark." He smirked. Just by saying that made him feel a little bit better. He walked passed Gina and gave her a quick quizical look. She's different, I guess. Not exactly who I thought she'd be... He bit his bottom lip to prevent a quiver from his lips. He headed off to his dorm as soon as he left the area.
